Good evening, another quite distinctive find from March on a log of Fraxinus in the gorge:
The spores are quite variable in shape and have [ 12.8-14.7-17.6 ] x [ 3.8-4.4-4.9 ] Q = [ 2.7-3.4-4.1 ] N = 13. Asci 8 spored, uniserate, IKI-, Paraphysis 1.5-2.5 thick
Thank you very much for help!

Re : pyreno on Fraxinus
Hi, Andreas!
It reminds me of Biporispora europaea. Please check if the ends of the ascospores have germ pores.
Best wishes,
Gernot

Re : pyreno on Fraxinus
Hi Gernot,
found exsiccate and made some pics from spores and dissolved Stroma in KOH 30%.
Asci measurement [ 91.3-98.7-104.1 ] x [ 5.8-6.2-6.6 ] Q = [ 14.1-15.9-17.9 ] N = 6
The germ pores are hard to see, but I found some hints (see pics).
I think this fits very well to Stefan Blasers postÂ

Re : pyreno on Fraxinus
There are indeed pores visible, yes. I think it looks good for Biporispora europaea.
Best wishes,
Gernot
