After checking Gminder and Otto's library I cannot fit this species with any Mollisia, yet appears to be this genus. M. sublividula came closest but spores were still too large and IKI -. Includes anamorph state descriptions in same collection. Grateful thanks for any guidance

Hello,
I would check Peltigeromyces mollisioides.

Seems to be the first British record! From where is it?

Re : Mollisia sps? with minute spores 2.7 -3.5µm.
With grateful thanks Viktorie/Otto. Appears to be the first record for the UK and not even listed as a recognised species under Brit.Myc. Soc database. I checked against the superb E. Rubio site which has the species at: https://www.centrodeestudiosmicologicosasturianos.org/?p=32206 I couldn't check against the Springer article as no licence but thanks for the ID, had no idea whatsoever!. I will endeavour to obtain the sequence for this record and double check and possibly write this up. It was located within a few kilometres from where I live next to the River Frome in Stroud, Gloucestershire. The grid ref is stated in the document if needed. It was under what I can only assume to be an Acer trunk as the area was thick with this species but from many years covered in thick moss.

Seems special coordinates which I cannot read.
I will send you the paper by mail.
