Cosmospora or Dialonectria on Asterosporium asterospermum
Edvin Johannesen, 06-03-2025 23:27
Edvin JohannesenHello!

I have a collection with acervuli of Asterosporium asterospermum (Diaporthales) - see photo of conidia - with perithecia of a Cosmospora or Dialonectria apparently growing on A. asterospermum. The ascospores are 2-celled (see photos). I have not yet made any further studies or measurements. I would like to check if anyone knows if there is a Cosmospora or Dialonectria (or other nectriaceous species) associated with A. asterospermum.

Thanks in advance.
