Stalked orange disco
Karl Soler Kinnerbäck, 30-01-2025 14:54
Hi! Found this one on or next to some Juncus species, possibly J. trifidus, in Padjelanta national park, alpine Sweden, 2024-08.

Dried ascomata -1 mm
Asci 110-140 x 10-11, IKI-
Paraphyses slender, 2my wide, slightly widened to 2,5 at apex
Sp 13-17 x 5-6, hyaline, smooth, with 1 or 2 guttules (dried material)

Help is very appreciated!
Best regards
Karl

Re : Stalked orange disco
Interesting, but in dead state difficult to say (for me). So it obviously grows on Juncus.

I suggest to study the exipulum.

This looks very helpful. Perhaps in earlier times it would have been classified as a Phialea or Cyathicula, if not Allophylaria. But a species I have not in mind.
