Pyreno with muriform spores
Juuso Äikäs, 05-12-2024 20:43
I found these black pyrenos a few days ago growing on a decidous twig (possibly Sorbus).

Asci 8-spored, IKI negative. Spores hyaline, two-celled, muriform, measuring 25.9 - 36.7 × 7.7 - 9.7 µm.

Any idea what the species/genus might be?

Re : Pyreno with muriform spores
Bonsoir,

Avec ces spores et l'hôte, je pense à Dothidora pyrenophora.

Amitiés,
Elisabeth

That does seem to fit quite well. Thanks! Merci beaucoup.
