Just downloaded the english Key for Tarzetta. I have a question regarding Tarzetta. Is the form of the cells of the Medula / Excipulum relevant for the determination, there is no such thing mentionned in the key.
Or do I have something else? The Asci are IKI- what corresponds with Tarzetta. Thanks for your advice. Spores 18.9 - 23.9 x 8.6 - 10.7 ym - Q: 2.10 - 2.30

Re : Tarzetta determination
Not sure your collection represents a Tarzetta species.
In which medium did you take the picture of ascospores?

Re : Tarzetta determination
Thank you Nicolas, this morning I was able to measure again with more spores in Water. Attached a new picture.
Now I have to sets
1. meas.: 18.9 - 23.9 x 8.6 - 10.7 µm - Q: 2.10 - 2.30 (Ø LxB: 20.7 x 9.4 ØQ:2.2 AzM: 13)
2. meas.: 18.5 - 21.8 x 8.3 - 9.7 µm - Q: 2.03 - 2.41 (Ø LxB: 19.8 x 9.1 ØQ:2.2 AzM: 24)
seems that in the first set I had 2 exceptional large Spores, but avg. Q remains the same.
I see that you describe in FMBDS 3 Leucoscypha patavina and semi-immersa. From your drawing (hairs) it could well be patavina, but mine are brighter, more beige colour.

Re : Tarzetta determination
Yes Thomas, your collection belongs to Sepultariella, probably S. semi-immersa.
