small ascomycete (disco?) on Euonymus-twig
Lothar Krieglsteiner, 23-11-2023 10:07
Lothar Krieglsteiner.. on standing bush, Schwäbische Alb (Germany), 19.11.2023.
Spores (also free ones) very different in size and septation, 3-5-7-septate and about (23-30-40-(48)/8-10(15) µm large, hyaline. The asci are iodine-negative and have croziers.
Does somebody have a hint?
Yours, Lothar

P.S. Unfortunately, in the moment I am not able to fix a scala in the pcitures (new laptop, problems with the program and the calibration to be solved ...).

Re : small ascomycete (disco?) on Euonymus-twig
Hello Lothar,
I once collected very similar specimens on a raspberry branch. Unfortunately, I did not have a microscope at that time and the exiccate was not preserved.
