White short-stipitate apothecia with narrowly allantoid spores on Salix sp.
Edvin Johannesen, 23-03-2023 15:54
Edvin JohannesenApothecia ca. 1 mm in diam. Somewhat downy on the outside, but no distinct hairs. Excipulum distinctly separate from hymenium, consisting of a dense palisade (textura porrecta/oblita (?)). Asci 50-60 x 5 micr., apparently joined together at their base in a crystal-like "matrix", with croziers (as far as I can see), IKI-. Spores narrwoly allantoid, 6-8 x 1-1.5, hyaline, smooth. On naked wood of Salix sp., probabaly S. aurita. Norway.

I have no idea what genus this is.  I guess someone here does?

PS. I have used phase contrast in order to be able to visualise the colourless structures. All mounted in water, incl. measures.

I should add that these are rehydrated from dried material.

That looks right, indeed. I should have remembered this one since i identified a collection in 2018. However, it is apprarently rare in Norway. Thanks a lot - I will try to remember this one - should be possible with these spores.
