.. again black, stromatic, on herbaceous stem, this time surely Apiaceae, a large one (Ferula?), near Monchique (Algarve). I found only one single free spore, the spores I measured about 10-12/2,5-3 µm, they are hyaline and 4-guttulate, first 1, later 3-septate (only good visible in dead state, Melzer). The asci have an inamyloid apical apparatus.Who can provide me with a hint?

Re : another pyrenomycete from Portugal
Hello Alain,
I am a bit confused. What I find in "aunt google" and in Wehmeyer (http://www.ascofrance.fr/uploads/forum_file/1932-v17-237-0001-0001.pdf) ist that Diaporthopsis has non-septate ascospores whereas Diaporthe has 1-septate. My fungus has 3-septate ascospores.

Re : another pyrenomycete from Portugal
Yes , of course (my memory failed...), the solution is probably somewhere in stromatic Diaporthales.
