Stalked basidiomycete on Cryptomeria needles
Guy Buddy, 16-09-2022 17:35
Hello,
Does anyone recognize this fungus fruiting from dead Cryptomeria japonica needles?
Basidia 4 spored, spores elliptical to fusiform, aseptate, measuring ~20 x 5 um.
Gloeocystidia? present on stem and cap, capitate with a gel surrounding the tip.
Thanks,
Devin
