Can I get some help towards the ID of this please.

Re : Erumpent with dark edging on acacia twig
Which area of the world is this? It seems to be a Helotiales or other inoperculate order. You have living paraphyses with VBs I presume, or do these droplets resist in KOH?
Spore measures are a bit odd, do you mean 12-13 µm broad?
Could you clarify the excipulum?
I assume it is a drought-tolerant species. Was it recently collected and were there any living asci?

Hello Peter;
Don't you think the substrate is a Robinia (pseudoacacia ), instead of "acacia"?What is a acacia /

Re : Erumpent with dark edging on acacia twig
Hello,
macrophoto, asci + spores remind me somehow on genus Mycosphaerangium (although that one is brown-spored), but I don't know southern hemisphere fungi. Perhaps Spooner's Helotiales of Australasia might be helpful? Alas, I don't have that book (and would like to, if anyone has it in pdf).

I haven't looked at them in KOH, 2nd and 4th images are in H2O.

Re : Erumpent with dark edging on acacia twig
So if micro 2 and 4 are in KOh then the droplets in the paraphyses must be LBs, not VBs. Thius is surprizing for me but VBs would be unusual too in such a fungus.
My pdf of Spooner is 15 MB, I could try sending it to you (Viktorie) by mail.
