Orbiia

Hi,

I found this Orbilia on a decorticated fallen branch of fagus.
I think of O.epipora but it is hyaline-white and this one as you can see in the photo is orange.
I have looked at Baral_et_al_2020_Monograph_Orbiliomycetes but I can't fit it.
Any ideas?
Thanks.

Dear Joaquin

I remember problematic Spanish samples between O. epipora and O. dryadum, although these two species are not closely related. We could not solve the case.

In my dryadum folder is one: Orbilia dryadum, ERD-5978 with a llight ochre-orange colour

Excuse me Zotto, I wanted to write dyadum. Too many  differences with an Hyalorbilia oreadum !!
