 spores ca. 5 x 3.5 x 3 µm; 5.6 x 3.4 µm; 5.0 x 4.2 µm; 5.0 x 3.4; 5.0 x 3.6 µm. Setae short, almost rounded at the apices, thick-walled with visible lumen, wavy in outline, ca- 20 µm lange; perithecia slightly immersed in the decayed wood; associated with  Euepixylon udum.
