GrüeziI found this Orbilia on bark of Salix spec. laying on snow at an altitude of about 1200m. Is it possible to identify this species after these fotos?
Spores 6.3 - 7.0 - 8.6 x 1.3 - 1.4 - 1.5. QØ = 5.0 n=10

Maybe phragmotricha.

Re : Orbilia on Salix
Yes, this is very easy: Orbilia phragmotricha. Earlier one would have named it O. rubella, but that is slightly different and much rarer.

Re : Orbilia on Salix
Thank you. It's very easy for you but actually very difficult for me, which is a bit frustrating as I seem to be quite acceptably proficient at microscopy now. Luckily I can ask here :-)
