Can anyone help me with this one? It grows on trametes versicolor. My thought was Hypomyces polyporinus anamorph but not sure at all. Conidienspore suze 15 x 10. Looked again, beautiful to see the branches like that. Now i kniw its not H polyporinus sporesize and septs are wrong. Any thoughts are welcome

Re : Hypomyces anamorph
Hi Ismael,

compare with Hypomyces aurantius

Re : Hypomyces anamorph
Thank you christian! My thoughts were between these two

Hypomyces mycophilus
The anamorph is Cladobotryum polypori, which is buff in color and looks like cotton. Conidia 14-24 X 7.5-10um. Or this

Hypomyces aurantius
The white colored anamorph is Cladobotryum varium. Hosts include Trametes versicolor. Conidia 10-20 X 6-8um.

So aurantius it is, thanks!

Re : Hypomyces anamorph
Some trouble, it doesnt react with koh so koh -. That means not aurantia but polypori?

Re : Hypomyces anamorph
it is the ascomata that change colour in KOH, not the asexual morph.
