HI all,
a mushroom friend found this collection in a stream on strongly decomposing wood, probably Abies, but also Alnus possible. Does anyone know this species? Microscopically similar to Peziza paludicola. But the largest apo have a diameter of 4.4 cm.
Regards Peter.

Re : Peziza spec.
I agree with Nihad. Spores shape and dimensions, as well as content of paraphyses are characteristic of this species. The ecology also agrees.
