I see there is a key to Xylaria under the tab Monographic Keys (above). Based purely on your photos, it is not dissimilar to X. cinerea however I would not be confident without a closer examination.

Hola Cameron,    he mirado en  las claves de Xylarias de Fournier y  aunque yo no tengo experiencia en usar claves,  a mi me llava a X. arbuscula .....  las exporas de D. cinerea   me parecen algo mas grandes
