at numerous occasions I have read about A. faginea being confused with N. pura var. foliacea.  But I also know that Zotto in his study found out that the type of N. pura var. foliacea is actually A. faginea, e.g.: http://www.ascofrance.com/search_forum/38666. 
Is there some paper in whitch is this matter already published? So is N. pura var. foliacea a phantom taxon?

Höhnel 1918 thought it to be = Ombrophila pura.

Gamundí & Romero 1998 say it is = A. faginea, but only for the major part, non Coryne foliacea Bres. - I am not sure what they exactly mean.

Well, thank you for your answer, Zotto, but I'm slightly more confused then before...
No, I'm just joking :-)
But seriously, A. faginea is a fungus protected by law in my country, so I mustn't collect it. Can I rely on that my specimen is really A. faginea? It fits macroscopically.
