Brown Ascobolus

I found these growing on a pile of dung in a forest with some tiny coprinoids.

The size is quite small, similar of my previous finding of what I think is A. sacchariferus. The microscopy looks similar too. But that species is supposed to be white and have the 'sugar' on the apos when it's young.

Any ideas?

It looks like Ascobolus furfuraceus Pers. per Hook. Current name Ascobolus stercorarius (Bull.) J. Schröt.
