On Fagus decorticated wood near a stream.

Diametre <2mm.

KOH+apo negative (or green : see picture).

Spores 10-12x2,8-3,7um without oil content.

Ascus IKI+ bb. With croziers.

Marginal hairs cylindrical not exceding 50um long.

Any idea ?

This one has been sequenced and it's Mollisia elegantior.

Hi Yannick

I am not sure but assume that we arrived at M. elegantior only via the sequence. Anyway, the morphology clearly points to that species. I only wonder why I have apos -2 mm or -5 mm, and ecology near a stream or near a pond. This sounds like two collections, For YM19236 I have -4 mm and the same location and date but Carpinus.
