Hi Mario
How do you arrive at Orbilia curvatispora (now called O. auricolor) without a microscope? Orbilias on leaves are tres tres rare! Surely always interesting if an Orbilia at all. Could you please show us a macro?

The resolution of your photo is a bit small but I suspect this is no asco but a gall induced by an insect. Are these structures rather tough and cartilagineous? Orbilia is very soft.
