Peziza (?)
Ethan Crenson, 26-10-2017 04:54
Eastern US, New York. Very dry conditions, on wet wood in a creek bed. Brown peziza, sessile, glabrous, about 2 cm wide. Asci 450-500 by 20µm, IKI+. Spores (mostly measured in asci) 21-27 by 11-12.5µm with 2 oil droplets. Paraphyses with orange-brown pigments at the tips, taller than the asci, septate. the tips up to 10µm wide. I'm very much out of my element here, so any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Re : Peziza (?)
This is a Pachyella. Characteristic is the thick gelatinous palisade layer of the outside, also the entirely amyloid asci.

Re : Peziza (?)
Genre Pachyella mais les spores ne sont pas à maturité. Ce sont des champignons qu'il faut parfois conserver plus de 15 jours au frigo avant d'obtenir des sporées.
