I'm looking for help with this fungus. It grows in the bark of a branch of Juglans regia. The ascomata are reminiscent of the ubiquitous Lophiotrema rubi, and at first I expected it to be that species but microscopy told a different story.
The most striking feature are probably the ascospores (ca. 27–33 x 4.8–5.5 µm), which are filled with refractive guttules and usually have 5–7 transverse septa with one cell often being slightly larger than the other ones. The asci appear bitunicate and the hamathecium consists of traberculate threads.
Best wishes,
Gernot
