Re : Neokalmusia
The manuscript was withdrawn (from the Saudi Journal) because they have published it in Sydowia (probably this was a duplicate submission, since the abstracts are identical - well at least I think so), see below the (published) reference and the abstract.

Neokalmusia didymospora (Didymosphaeriaceae), a new species from bamboo

Dong-Qin Dai, Ali H. Bahkali, Hiran A. Ariyawansa, Wen-Jing Li, D. Jayarama Bhat & Kevin D. Hyde

A new ascomycetous species, Neokalmusia didymospora, inhabiting dead bamboo, is introduced based on morpho-molecular studies. Neokalmusia didymospora is characterized by orange to brown clypeus, immersed, subglobose ascomata, bitunicate, cylindrical asci and 1-septate, brown ascospores. Maximum-likelihood and Bayesian analyses of combined SSU, ITS and LSU gene sequence data show that N. didymospora belongs in Didymosphaeriaceae, Pleosporales. The new species is compared with other morphologically similar and phylogenetically related species.

Keywords: Dothideomycetes, ITS, LSU, SSU, taxonomy.
