Re:What is this?
It seems a Scutellinia species. You must to use the cotton blue for a good definition of the spore ornamentation.

Re:What is this?
Hi,
this is probably a Scutellinia species, but it's impossible to give a name without features, measures, etc. Your microscopic photograph shows that the spore are spherical but we need the ornementation of them and the diameter.
Best regards.
Nicolas

Re:What is this?
I thank for your answers. Only that I can you give they are the dimensions spores. Diameter 15,6-17,7 μm. The dimensions of type are 1cm roughly. I do not have which possibility for cotton blue or something else.
Thank you.
Thank you.

Re:What is this?
This Scutellinia collection apparently has rather short hairs. Too short for S. trechispora. To decide on species identity, it is also essential to have a microphotograph of marginal hairs, to give their length and diameter values, and base ramification. You can try to stain Scutellinia ornamentation also with Cresyl-blue.

Re:What is this?
On a déjà trouvé S. trechispora à poils courts (< 500 µm ) voir discussion sur ce forum du 09/07/2007 à propos du "complexe" trechispora-barlae;
