                This is Scutellinia setosa.

I thought the fruit bodies should be 1-2.5mm rather than 4-6mm of this find.

You're right, I must go back to holidays  :o)
I was focused on the colour of apthecia and substrate!
So is it possible to see ascospores in CB at a higher magnification (and outside asci)?

Two years ago I find a typical S.setosa, with fb 1-2 mm diam. That's why now I was not sure.

These samples I collected 5 days ago. I'll try to go today to take fresh samples.

            Re : Orange Scutellinia
Solved, Scutellinia setosa. I found them again today.
In the same place, half a meter away, on rotten wood I found the typical S.setosa with fb 1-2 mm diam (see picture). Microscopic are the same.
These big grown mainly on soil. Why are bigger, I do not know, in Serbia are all bigger after NATO bombing. Sorry for the joke.

Now it is a perfect fit for S setosa.
