Good morning,
I think that the collection matches Morchella pulchella Clowez & F.Petit, a species close to the American M. septentrionalis. It is characterized by small inconspicuous paraphyses, non-clavate acroparaphyses, and macroscopically by the conical cap with rounded apex and the pale colours with lately darkening crests. The ecology with Populus is pretty selective for morels, only a few species seem to associate with these trees.

Je ne crois pas que qui que ce soit ait déjà écrit que les morilles étaient "simples"... C'est complexe, mais c'est une complexité "finie" et déjà largement défrichée depuis quelques années, il reste beaucoup de travail d'observation (macro et micro) à faire pour définir parfaitement la variabilité de chaque espèce, et comprendre leurs limites respectives.
