Ascomycetes inside jelly fungi (Guepiniopsis estonica) ?
Pavol Palo, 22-11-2015 23:55
Hello friends,

Inside the gelatinous fungus Guepiniopsis estonica growing on the bark of pine twigs I found ascii . Do you know anyone help me with ideas what this could be ?

Regards

Pavol

Yes, I think so. Regrettably immature. Perhaps you can find mature asci too? In Dacrymyces I know a once collected Helicogonium similar to H. jacksonii, with ascoconidia.

Hi Zotto
I'm afraid I have not found a mature ascii. Ascii 30-75 x 11-14 µm.

These rod-shaped conidia could be the asccoconidia from inside the asci, but I don't see this clearly.
