Trichoglossum hirsutum (Pers.) Boud., in Hist. Class. Discom. Eur. (Paris): 86 (1907)

 and possibly the first description by Persoon as:


Geoglossum hirsutum Pers. in Comm. fung. clav. (Lipsiae): 37 (1797).
