Asexual morph on Rhododendron
Bernard Declercq, 07-05-2015 20:23
Bernard DeclercqHello,

Collected on leaves of Rhododendron ponticum:
Conidiomata composed of dark brown, fasciculate, hair-like conidiophores.
Conidiophores cylindrical, 60-80x9-10 µm, 3-5-septate, dark brown.Conidia ellipsoid-fusoid, 28-30x11-12 µm, distoseptate, truncate basal end, smooth-walled, subhyaline to pale brown. Causing pale greyish brown dark-bordered spots on living leaves.
In the field I thought to have collected some Colletotrichum, but this is clearly something else. Your help is welcome.
