Morchella rufobrunnea?
Godorova Olga, 04-02-2015 20:40
Godorova OlgaHello. Greetings from Israel, again. :)
This mushroom season, that is coming to it's end here, was very successful for Morchellas. Especially this species, that we used to call "Morchella conica", until someone from the international mycological group have told about some pictures, that it looks more like Morchella rufobrunnea or something close. This year it was found in different parts of Israel, mostly in Olive plantations, gardens and also in urban areas.
I've seen some reddening parts on the surfaces of the fruit bodies, but they don't really "blushing" or changing color to reddish-brown, as I can tell.
The spores are around 25-26*14-16 mkm, paced in one or two raws. The ascos are about 350-450*22-26 mkm.
I looked for hairs on the stipe surface, but found may be just one. Not sure, that I've seen hairs there at all.

Re : Morchella rufobrunnea?
Bonjour Olga,
Amicalement, Pierre-Arthur
