Coccomyces sp. on fallen Rhododendron leavesPretty
Hi everybody,I found this single specimen (0,3 mm) on a rootpiece of grass at a pond edge.
It looks like Trematosphaeria clarkii (Ellis&Ellis) but the spore size doesn't fit. The spores measure (62-66) 64,6 x 17,8 (16-20) µm, 8-9-septate, olivaceausbrown with 1 to 2 paler end cells on each side. Asci 121-131x49-72.
Thank you very much.
Regards, Maren
Hi Maren,
Perhaps Hadrospora fallax ?
But the host perhaps doesn't fit.
It is just an idea.
Alain
Probably the good idea.
But the paper of Tanaka & Harada could be useful.
Alain
I checked with the paper of Tanaka & Harada, Hadrospora fallax seems a good idea indeed.
Thank you very much.
I try to get more specimen this weekend for further investigation.
Regards, Maren
Hi Maren,
that's good.
Could you send me the japanese paper please ?
If you find a lot of material, and only if, I would be happy to loook at it.
Have a good day,
Alain
I found the incomplete paper here http://link.springer.com/article/10.1007/s10267-003-0097-0?no-access=true#page-1.
Regards, Maren
I could send you the full version of the paper in private if you're interested.
Best wishes,
Gernot
this would be nice, thank you.
Regards, Maren
