Hi to all, yesterday I found this beatifull species at the underside of a Rubus fruticosus leaf and I still don't have a idea about the genus, I suspect it belongs to the Naevioideae.
Asci arising from croziers, IKI bb, 45-60x7-7,5
Spores clavate 11,5-14x2-2,2 Oil 0 (0,5)
paraphyses apical curved filled with numerous VBs
Thanks in advance for your help

wonderful!! Have a look in my folder circinella + orbilioides, and you will find all your questions answered. ;-)
Whether or not this is a genus of its own I cannot say, surely a matter of taste. And whether it is restricted to Rubus leaves or a polyphagous species - who knows...
Pezizella orbilioides Feltg. is rather similar. I am not sure to have tested IKI on my Rubus sample for the blue excipulum. Naevia vitellina looks similar. N. lutescens and Calloria circinella have no croziers
Zotto
Hi Stip, and Zotto, and everyone,
Your find reminds me of a collection in La Barre de Monts in Vendée on the same substrate in may 2012 . I presented it on this forum at http://www.ascofrance.fr/search_forum/18820.
More pics and details available on very specific and kind demand -:)
Amitiés
Michel
this is indeed the same species although Michels finding is more pale the microscopy looks the same, Naevia vitellina looks very similar indeed and Feltgens original description of Pezizella orbilioides could fit also. The questions remain the same but now I am at least not alone with them :-)
Amitiés?,
Stip
