Have you any idea about these substipitate, hairy ascomata up to 0.6-0.7 mm that grew on wood of Quercus ilex still attached branches? Â
The hymenium is brownish/violaceous and the hairs, multiseptate, minutely incrustate have a brownish base and subhyaline apex. They arise of the brownish, angularis to prismatica textura of the ectal excipulum.Â
Asi IKI negative, 8-spored, with croziers. Paraphyses filiform withouth conspicuous Vb's.
It has several affinitys with Zotto's collection HB 5363 E, as Lasiobelonium 'encoelia'.

it is a good idea to compare this with my Lasiobelonium, thoughthat has the hairs  longer and more flexuous, and the granules on them disappear completely in KOH, unlike your fungus.Â
So I think yours  fits quite well this Trichopeziza viridula that I also misnamed Hyphodiscus sericeus, for instance HB 9191 which has spores *(5.5-)6.5-9(-12) x 2.6-2.8 µm.
By the way, I find your spores 6-7.6 x 2-2.7 µm from the scale.
Is the excipulum section also in KOH?

The name Peziza sericea was applied by Schweinitz for our fungus, but it is quite possible that Albertini meant with that name the very long-spored fungus now combined as Aerugineoscyphus sericeus by René.

OK., Zotto. In fact many young ascomata with greenish hymenium and white hairs are present this day on another branches. I think the material that I show is hypermature because their micro characters are the same.
