After finding Cucurbitaria berberidis on berberis these little ones. The ascus seem to be covered with ... i forgot how these spores are called. The actual spores are muriform and about 25 long. Any thoughts? Nectria?

Re : little ones on berberis
maybe Pleonectria lamyi (Desm.) Sacc?.
You can see it here: http://www.cbs.knaw.nl/publications/1000/sim0001.pdf?
Best regards,
Christian

Re : little ones on berberis
well looking here http://ascofrance.com/recolte/3101/sordariomycetes-hypocreales-nectriaceae-pleonectria-lamyi? it sure looks like it. Substrat is correct and the spores with spinelike things. I think it at least is nectria. Thanks!

Re : little ones on berberis
Those look like asco conidia, like the spores are budding conidia and filling up the asci like Thyronectria or something but the fruiting bodies look different than that.  They are quite beautiful.  Good luck!

Yes, they are all right : this is Pleonectria lamyi.
