In a dune area on sand in the immediate vicinity of a wood chip path.

Spores with (sometimes contiguous) warts; several oil drops; thick-walled; Av 17.59x8.68µm (N = 17)

I would say yes with the second picture, but the first one is not typical (maybe too old?).
The small drops at each pole of ascospores is characteristic of the genus Phylloscypha.

Peziza boltonii is believed to be a Mediterranean species that grows on sand. Central Europe also has very similar collections growing on the sand. Have you researched collections from Central Europe? Could it be the same species?

Yes, this is the same thing. The species can be found in coastal and continental areas, no genetical differences (until now).
