Orbilia phragmotricha?
Khomenko Igor, 28-05-2021 07:54
Khomenko IgorHi,
I think it is a good match to Orbilia phragmotricha, but because there are no reports from North America and on this host I'm not certain.

Apothecia were on top of the bark of a broken branch of Gleditsia triacanthos (Honey Locust), on the ground.
It was dry when I found it. Paraphyses were dead, but spores were alive.
Apothecia were up to 1mm when dry.
Ascospores in H2O
(6.8) 7.3 - 7.9 (8.7) × (1) 1.2 - 1.5 (1.6) µm
Q = (4.5) 5.3 - 6.5 (7.3) ; N = 16
Me = 7.7 × 1.3 µm ; Qe = 5.9
