Reddish-brown waxy cup

Hello all,
I could use some guidance on this collection from about 2 weeks ago. On well rotted hardwood, dark reddish-brown waxy cups, 1mm or smaller.
Asci IKI-, 8-spored. They appear bitunicate in iodine, 29.5-36 x 5-5.5µm.
Spores ellipsoid, hyaline 4-4.8 x 2.3-2.6µm, biguttulate.
I don't have much else to go on. Does anyone have some idea?
Thanks,
Ethan

Re : Reddish-brown waxy cup
This is not bitunicate, many Helotiales have it, usually an apical ring is in this thickening but here not.
The ectal excipulum should be clarified and then KOH be tested if a red-brown dya extrudes (ionomidotic).

Re : Reddish-brown waxy cup
Hmm, there are short smooth hairs, but a Hyaloscyphaceae I do not consider. Might be an American species? But what genus? The excipulum seems a short-celled somewhat irregular texture, not angularis, not prismatica.
