What's this?(Hyaloscyphaceae?)

Dear colleagues,

I have found a small disco on the wood of Quercus robur. Fruitbodies are 0,2-0,5 mm, some of them short-stalked, some prostrate.

Asci blue in IKI, I haven't seen any croziers.

With best regards,

Irina

Hi Irina,

with this sparse information about hairs and asci??

But anyway, the spores resemble of Hyaloscypha daedalea which can be found on Quercus wood, preferably on wood laying on the ground or root pieces where you can find Dasyscyphella nivea also.

cheers,

Stip

Stip,

fruitbodies are in bed condition, so it took me a lot of time to find hairs, but I did it (hope so).

Hairs?

Hi Irina,
it looks like hairs and of Hyaloscypha type too to me, did you make ascus measurements?

Hi Irina,

ascussize fits good too, although you did not see croziers I would say it is H. daedalea for the more wedge  formed spores instead of H. fuckelii var alniseda, if you want to look for croziers, try in CR and look for young asci.

Cheers,

Stip
