I am coming again with an interesting pyrenomycete which grows on old stems of Arundinaria (I think it IS Arundinaria sp). It is a very small fungus embedded into the surfaces of the dead culms and leafs.
Spores are around 11-13x5-6µm and have a central septation. In most cases the upper part of the spore is broader. I have also found some conidiospores but I do not know if they belong to the Didymella. There will be a photo of them too.
And: there is no reaction in Lugol.
regards,
björn
