Lothar Krieglsteiner

... collected on 21.12.2016 in the area Kaiserstuhl in the Southwest of Baden-Wuerttemberg (Germany). The area is of warm climate.

Who can tell me something about the identity of this anamorph?

I must admit: at first glance under the microscope I thought about telia of a rust fungus :-)

Best regards from Lothar

Hallo Lothar
something like Pestalotia berberidis Guba? Though these setulate conidia can be very confusing - relevant pages here . . .

Hello Chris,

thank you very much for your proposal and for the file. I think this could fit well - I will have a second look at it later.

Please - could you tell me where you cut the description of P. berberidis out (what publication)?

Thanks again and best regards from

Lothar
