Just a try ...

Found by Willy Heimeriks, October 2021, the Netherlands, on living leaves of Prunus serotina.
On the same leaf Miricatena prunicola.

Conidia: Me: 5.2 x 2.1 µm.

These foliicolous fungi with small hyaline unicellular conidia are in a very confused state, with vast numbers of names in Phoma, Phyllosticta etc. created in the past and mostly based on host relationships.



van der Aa comments on the latter - see attached.

When something as distinctive as the Miricatena comes along that is a more hopeful direction ;-)

Sorry can't be of any real help here.
