I wish you all a happy new year 2019 :)
Last year i found in december on Peltigera sp. a asco that grow between Pseudorobillarda peltigerae.
The spores are 1-3 septated and the ascus have no reaction in Lugol.
Any idea what this could be ?
best regards,
Thorben

Re : Asco on Peltigera sp.
Have you compared with Leptosphaeria clarkii? I cannot see for sure how many spores are in each ascus.

Re : Asco on Peltigera sp.
Hi Georges,
i have compared with L. clarkii, but i think it doesn't match.
Yesterday I got an indication of the genus Capronia.
best regards,
Thorben

Look at Knufia peltigerae - see http://fungi.myspecies.info/all-fungi/knufia-peltigerae. It used to be a Capronia.
Best wishes and a Happy New Year too.
