Brown and hairy on Pinus
Juuso Äikäs, 01-07-2020 20:32
These were growing together with the Laevipilas that I recently posted here (also some Lachnellula pseudofarinacea), on the bark of a dead, thin, standing Pinus sylvestris.

The spores measure 27.5-34 x 3.5-4 µm.
IKI-, croziers+, paraphyses with VBs (disappearing with the addition of KOH).

This seems overall fairly distinctive but I haven't come across anything like this before.

Re : Brown and hairy on Pinus
I believe I actually managed to stumble on the right species myself: Crumenulopsis pinicola seems to fit quite nicely.
