Tapia Fidel, 26-03-2014 18:43

Re : Hysteropatella clavispora
Are your fruitbodies photographed when dry and did they open their hymenium when you rehydrated them?
Hysteropatella has an open hymenium, partly even when dry. But I never met H, clavispora.

I do not know a recent report.

Re : Hysteropatella clavispora
so you mean they change from slit-like to lentiform. Did you check the iodine reaction with Lugol? And did you measure the spores?

Re : Hysteropatella clavispora

Yes, the last 2 questions of Zotto are important. Thus, if you can show ascomata rehydrated.

Because Hysteriaceae is not yet excluded, with the few informations we have.

Re : Hysteropatella clavispora
Annex photos apothecia rehydrated. The ascospores are claviform, of 19-22 x 7-8 µm.
Anyone knows where I can find information of this species?

 Thanks and regards
