Anamorph on Rubus.
Josep Torres, 20-05-2025 09:37
Josep TorresHello, an anamorph photographed last April 20th, sprouting on a small, decaying Rubus sp. trunk.
Synnemas measuring 0.9–1.2 mm tall × 0.1–0.18 (0.2) mm at the fertile top.
Conidia broadly ellipsoidal, thick-walled, measuring:
(9.4) 9.6–11.6 (12.2) × (5.8) 6.1–7.1 (7.5) µm
Q = (1.3) 1.5–1.76 (1.8) ; N = 20
Me = 10.8 × 6.7 µm; Qe = 1.6
I haven't been able to clearly observe conidiogenesis, and the closest thing I know would be Cephalotrichum or related species, although I haven't been able to find any in the Keys with similar conidial measurements.
Any suggestions would be welcome.
Thank you very much in advance.
Best regards.
