Immersed pyrenomycetes on Eucalyptus bark
Zuidland Peter, 04-01-2022 05:46
Happy New Year to all and I am hoping for some help with this species.

Black stained bark with a nipple under which is an immersed hymenium. The spores are two-part inside the asci but are mostly detached outside, only rarely did I find a free pair.
Asci are IKI+ and hard to see but I think Cr+.
Spore parts can be seen best as single septate in Lugol's and septate with constriction when seen in water. Spore parts measure 19.3-21.6 x 3.6-3.9um

With thanks
