Ascocarp 45mm diameter, I think it is stratified. No stipe. Slightly furfuraceous.
Spores smooth, occasionally one or two guttulate 18-20 x 9-11.5µm
Paraphyses slightly swollen at ends.
Asci blue tipped in Melzers.

Habitat: burnt gorse site with cow dung, but growing on soil. Collected on 10th Feb.

it would also be interesting to see the paraphyses more detailed (without congo-red), if there is yellow content in the tips. could be p. granularis. spores and the shape of the paraphyses fits well ...
