Joop van der Lee, 15-12-2018 18:27
Joop van der LeeFound on cow dung.
Two fruitbodies found which differ in size but the spore sizes remain the same.
Spores clusters present do have 3 different patterns (documentation only mention 1 pattern)
All clusters are surrounded by a hyaline envelope (not mentioned in documentation)
Spores also show horizontal cracks connected by 2 lateral cracks. (not mentioned in documentation), beside that they are also covered with small warts.
Asci: 133.8-141.4x33-38.1 um (short stipes included)
Spore clusters: 45.8-46.6x17.5-18.8 um, surrounded by a hyaline envelope (3 cluster patterns)
Spores: 19.6-21.4x8.6-9.2 um, spores covered with small warts and also containing cracks.
Parafhyses: 2.2-2.8 um, septated, wider on the tops 3.8-4.3 um, containing yellowish content.

Re : Saccobolus citrinus
Found a different presentation of S. citrinus today.
No disk but spread out of ripe asci giving a clear pattern and good presentation of spore clusters and single spores.
