I had the opportunity to revise an authentic collection of Galactinia phlebospora (coll. Le Gal n° 1246 in PC).
On rehydrated material, the ascospores measure 16-19 (20) × 8.5-9.5 (10) µm, Me = 17.3 × 9.2 µm (n = 30), Qm = 1.9. As depicted by Le Gal, the spore ornamentation is made of longitudinal ridges, ± anastomosing.
I also obtained a partial ITS of this collection (unpublished).
I didn't find the type collection in Le Gal's herbarium.
